#7 City of the Living Dead (1980)
City of the Living Dead. Crazy stuff. Seems like its going to be a stuffy thriller film, and it kinda is for the most part, but then the zombies turn up. Its enjoyable enough. Some real legendary gross-out moments.
A reporter and a psychic race to close the Gates of Hell after the suicide of a clergyman caused them to open, allowing the dead to rise from their graves.

#8 Motel Hell (1980)
Its a little bit Texas Chainsaw with the creepy family, but it does its own thing, has some (black?) comedic moments and is a lot better than I was expecting.
A seemingly friendly farmer and his sister kidnap unsuspecting travelers and bury them alive, using them to create the “special meat” they are famous for. – IMDB
