Burial Ground aka Night of Terror. Was also released as Zombie 3.
An archaeology professor discovers an ancient crypt which contains living dead corpses. The zombies go on a rampage and attack a group of people which the professor had invited to celebrate his discovery. –IMDB
An essentially pointless story leads to Fulci-like zombies and gore. Its fine. Theres a weird small man playing a child in this film.
“A reporter who has had an affair with the daughter of the U.S. President is sent to Hungary. There he is bitten by a werewolf, and then gets transferred back to Washington, where he gets a job as press assistant to the President. Then bodies start turning up in D.C. . . .” – IMDB
The wolf costume is funny. Its all weird and over the top in a very 70’s kind of way. Its kind of grating.
“A preacher whose ancestors were Druids battles Satan, who has taken the form of a huge snake.”
The “huge snake” is a large cobra, maybe 3 meters long. It is possessed by Satan and can control and influence near by cobras to do its bidding. There’s a lot of snakes.
Strange Behavior (also known as Dead Kids) is a 1981 slasher film. “The film is considered a seminal work of New Zealand cinema, being the first horror film produced in the country”. This is also a Section 3 Video Nasty (under the name Dead Kids). Soundtrack is by Tangerine Dream but the song Shivers by The Birthday Party (still The Boys Next Door at the time) appears at 26:23min. Its “small, original and offbeat” like many Aus and NZ films from around that period, it has an interesting, suspenseful story line that builds in strangeness and is deeper than you initially expect, what slasher moments there are are decent, and the mad science is creepy. It is essentially a Sci Fi/mad scientist and suspense film with some slasher elements. I give it 2.5/5 because yes it is good, it is worth watching, though it is unfortunately a bit sparse and slow at times. Wikipedia
The Prowler is a 1981 horror film with Tom Savini manning the gore button. There’s a story line but it is essentially meaningless filler. The gore, limited as it is, is some A-grade Savini though, and the only reason to bother sitting through this.
An unknown killer, clad in World War II U.S. Army fatigues, stalks a small New Jersey town bent on reliving a 35 year-old double murder by focusing on a group of college kids holding an annual graduation dance.
For Savini completist’s only. 2 stars just for his few parts.

#15 – Black Belly of the Tarantula (1971)
The Black Belly of the Tarantula is a 1971 Italian giallo film directed by Paolo Cavara. It is one of many Italian giallo films to be inspired by Dario Argento’s successful debut thriller The Bird with the Crystal Plumage.
A mysterious killer is attacking women associated with a blackmail conspiracy. It is up to the reluctant Inspector Tellini to find out who the killer is, before he or his girlfriend become the murderer’s next target.
Pretty standard Giallo film, nudity, twisted murders, not bad, not great.
